Farm to Patient is a series hosted at various locations throughout Maine featuring companies from around the state. This particular event was held at the Wisely Hash Factory in Sanford Maine. A very convenient drive with enough parking for everyone! Which I was worried may be a slight issue, given the number of people showing up. This time around they had you reserve tickets ahead of time and they ended up reserving all 900. The time was 12pm to 6pm and the first 50 to arrive and wait in line would be given a goodie bag with featured items from the vendors.
The weather was cloudy and a bit rainy but it didn't matter the vibe was still high! Once you got inside the factory you were greeted with another kind of cloud, clouds of high quality hash and flower! Which everyone knows is the best kind of cloud. This was because they made it so convenient for everyone to enjoy their meds with ample amounts of tables and chairs in the middle of the factory. It was a giant smoke session with good vibes all around, and a varied style of music from the DJ, who was playing some classic tracks the whole time keeping the vibe going. Once the munchies kicked in there were food trucks with various options to satisfy your stoner cravings.
The Farm vendors included Moon Jelly Melts, Ganja Berry, Firefly Organics, Gaia Farms/Undertow, Sugar Grove, Helios, Third Shift Resin, Hazy Hill Farm, Newton's Nursery, Skunkfoot Farms, Upstate Gardens, Mega Raw Melts and Glaze edibles along with many others! Clearly people brought their A game and overall had a nice selection of products to choose from. If you wanted a certain Terp or looking for a kind of dab somebody had it, which is what makes having a wide group of growers so important! The people who like sativa's or indica's can grow them to their full potential and those who are seeking the most fruity flavors can go pheno hunt them down. Room for everyone!
Firefly has been impressing lately, and the event was no different.
Helios Baller Jars of honey
Some full melt and rosin from Third Shift.
There were also some amazing talented glass blowers in attendance doing live demos such as Dirk Diggler, Sable Haze, Hot Mess Glass, Chaka Glass, Sully Reynolds, Beak Glass, Danny Camp and more! If you've never seen live glass blowing before I can't recommend it enough, watching the craftsmen make a piece in front of your eyes is truly wild! The amount of hours it takes to get to this level is what calls for the pipes prices, and when you see it in front of your eyes you will understand. An interesting thing about the glass scene is it is much like other forms of art; everyone has their own style and unique take on pieces. For instance Chaka has a very cool frozen look to his pieces which fits perfectly around here in Maine and the New England Area. Or you have Dirk Diggler with his incredible life like coral reefs that get magnified by the water. Truly functional works of art!
Chaka meeting with a customer and blowing glass.

When the board looks like this what do I gotta say? Moon Jelly kills it, and are kind people.
Newtons Nursery had a great line up of strains and killer pre rolls for a good deal.

Upstate with a huge lineup of baller jars.
Wisely had a wide array of flower. Big shout out to them for hosting the event!
What made this overall experience so amazing was the fact the patients could directly meet with the owners of the companies and get a first hand account of their growing practices, strains that are coming soon, exchange info with the farms doing direct to patient sales for future pick ups. This is a very unique thing and something people are missing out on in other legal states. Them being forced to buy from very few shops that are selling year old bud, we all need to be very appreciative of the Maine program and be vigilant defending it making sure its future is protected.
Hope everyone enjoyed the recap, and those who went had a good time! If you made it this far you clearly love your weed. Sign up and join our forum today and get notified of future events like this and get updates about your favorite brands!
