Future Of Cannabis Why Corporate Cannabis Is So Bad

The future of cannabis, it's a very unclear thing but one thing is for sure. Corporations want all of the shares of the pie, and they aren't playing fair. Large companies like Curaleaf have a very dark history that the average consumer of their products haven't a clue about. The mentality of not caring who you source your cannabis from seems to be a very standard mentality in the older age groups. I feel this comes from a "I'm just glad to be here" mentality and this is going to leave everyone with only one place left to go. As these companies spend millions of dollars to create laws in these states to create monopolies and have zero home grow rights. That's correct folks, the reason so many states don't have the right to grow cannabis at home is because these companies are behind the bills. They continually try to change them by lobbying and using their corporate influence to persuade a very undereducated government. It doesn't take a historian to do the research to see this is the last company that should be having a say on the Cannabis industry in America.

Why is corporate weed so bad? Beside from the fact they have NO LOVE for the plant or the culture, It's simple Cannabis doesn't want to be grown in a giant commercial facility. If you have outbreaks of any disease, treating it becomes a nightmare that can only be solved by shutting down the facility. Something greedy businesses aren't willing to do, so they are willing to use nasty chemicals to keep the grow going. They then can remediate it using radiation and have it pass testing. This was covered in another article called Mandatory Testing. They also are known to use trim machines, and wet trim their product to speed things up. Corporations have also never come up with a strain that's made an impact on the scene; instead they rely on cuts from underground growers ironically. Another giant thing is the fact they grow in such large quantities the products are known to sit around for over a year, and then they can still turn them into concentrates to have a new date on the package. Cannabis needs to be consumed within a certain time window after cure for its full beneficial effects. Cannabinoids start to convert and terpenes are lost and you are left with a very inferior product.

It's really simple. They don't care about the culture, they don't care about the patients, they only care about their profits and that's it. The future of cannabis depends entirely on where you spend your money. So be sure to know your source, and think about what they do with their money. This mentality should be applied to all things but in such a infant industry that is ever changing like cannabis it's so crucial to not just shop there because it's convenient but to support the people who are supporting this industry and trying to advance it in the right direction and not trying to just monopolize it for them self
