Breaking down your medicine, its the first step we all take in medicating and we all have our tried and true way of doing it, but are you wasting your medicines potential? By using a traditional "herb" grinder you are destroying a lot of your THC by removing the very delicate trichrome from the flower itself. You will notice if you grind very frosty dry buds their will be a lot more kief in your bottom chamber when it should have stayed with your flower the whole time. If you try to grind fresh buds its basically mushing it together and damaging the integrity of the flower. Mishandling flower can lower percentages from 5-10%.
By using a pair of trimming scissors you are able to get really delicately break down the flower by going with the bud and breaking it down into very user friendly sized chunks. Another great benefit from breaking it down this way is that your flower wont get sucked into your water, or worse yet get "scoobied". You will see and feel a difference right away, the flower will still have all those beautiful trichromes glistening and the effect is gonna be noticeably stronger and smoother. The finer the grind the more resinous and harsh the hit will be.
